How to Properly Recycle/Dispose of Your Outdoor Fireplace

SAFETY FIRST!

Before Handling you fire pit make sure any gas hoses are unhooked and wear gloves to protect your hands from damaged metal or screws.  We recomend cleaning your grill before disposal.

Note: Refer to your user manual if you have any issues dismantling or unhooking your fire pit.

RECYCLABLE:

Steel/Stainless Steel/Cast Iron/Brass/Aluminum:  Be sure to remove any non metal elements before recycling.  You can take any of these pieces to your local metal scrap dealer/recycler.

Control Knobs: Control knobs are usually recyclable if they are made of black plastic. You should always follow local municipal guidelines when recycling plastic. If any metal parts remain attached to the plastic, dispose of in your regular waste.

Any other parts such as hearth, hoses, and accessories should be disposed of with your regular waste.  If you have concerns or questions about a particular item you can contact your local recycling center.
